Six Senses has signed an agreement with the Al Ula Development Company to open a 1.2 million square meter luxury hotel in Al Ula, expected to open in 2027. It will be located in a natural oasis with lush palm groves and surrounded by dramatic red sandstone cliffs with 100 guest villas and 25 residences.

The Arabian landscape is set to be transformed with a breathtaking fusion of history, culture, and luxury.

Six Senses AlUla, an enchanting retreat nestled in Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage site, will open its doors in 2027.

Fabien Toscano, CEO of AlUla Development Company, and Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, signed the hotel management agreement. The venture aligns with its commitment to sustainable development and economic diversification, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The new Six Senses AlUla site is steeped in a rich tapestry of human history. Once a pivotal trading hub along the ancient spice route, AlUla is home to the remnants of the ancient Nabatean civilization. 

Dotted with immaculately preserved tombs adorned with intricate facades dating back to the 1st century BC, AlUla is a living testament to the passage of time.

Positioned strategically amidst a verdant oasis, the Six Senses AlUla resort is surrounded by lush palm groves framed by dramatic red-sandstone cliffs.
