The resort houses 36 guest rooms and 40 pool villas strategically placed to capture the sweeping views of the dunes and wadi. The British architectural firm Foster + Partners, renowned for their eco-friendly designs, has used locally sourced materials to construct these structures.

The interior design, much like the exterior, is a blend of beauty and tradition, with soft furnishings that draw from the vibrant colors and patterns of traditional Bedouin attire.

Six Senses Southern Dunes has sustainability at the heart of its operations. It aspires to become the first LEED Platinum resort in Saudi Arabia, sourcing its electricity entirely from its own solar farm. The resort also adheres to a plastic-free policy, bottling still and sparkling water at the on-site water plant.

The Earth Lab offers engaging workshops that breathe life into conservation. In line with the Eat With Six Senses ethos, the resort’s culinary offerings focus on health and well-being while celebrating the regional flavors. The ingredients are either grown in the Chef’s Garden or sourced locally.

Guests can participate in various activities, from local fishing and cooking. The on-site Artisan Village narrates the region’s history through arts, crafts, dance, and music.

Wellness and Spa Facilities

Six Senses Spa, with its honeycomb walls mirroring the patterns of the dunes, offers a range of wellness facilities. These include a salon, a barber, a biohacking recovery lounge, and treatment rooms. The Frankincense Suite offers Rasul treatments, and there’s also a hammam. 

The Alchemy Bar lets guests handmake clean skincare products using rich spices and fragrances. The wellness facilities continue on the second floor with a fully equipped gym, a separate spin studio, and a yoga and aerial yoga suite.

The resort can be reached via a 45-minute private car transfer from the new Red Sea International Airport. Guests can also opt for a domestic flight from Yanbu Airport and a two-hour transfer to the resort. 

Transfers must be booked in advance and are subject to availability and an added charge. AlUla Airport is 4.5 hours away, and Jeddah Airport is within 5 hours.

The resort offers a unique opening deal for bookings before December 31, 2023. This includes a complimentary 30-minute biohacking experience, early check-in from 10:00 a.m., late check-out until 4:00 p.m. (subject to availability), an Earth Lab experience, and an in-villa private BBQ experience for villa bookings.
