On the 29th night of Ramadan, over 2.5 million worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque for Taraweeh and Isha prayers, marking the completion of the Quran recitation.

Well known Imams including Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais and Sheikh Salah Al-Budair led the prayers, seeking forgiveness and blessings for Muslims around the world.

The 29th night of Ramadan is a significant occasion in the Islamic calendar, marking the completion of the Holy Quran’s recitation. 

This year, the event was marked by a massive gathering of over 2.5 million worshippers at two of the most sacred Islamic sites: the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah

Both Makkah hotels and Madinah hotels showed extremely high occupancy levels during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Imam of Makkah’s Grand Mosque and head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, led the prayers.
