Simplified Tourist Visa Process
Saudi Arabia has simplified the tourist visa process for visitors from Pakistan, with applicants now only need to provide a bank statement showing a balance of $750 or its equivalent.
The Kingdom aims to attract 2.7 million Pakistani tourists in 2024, marking a 43% rise compared to 2023.
Travelers can apply for the visa at any of the six Tasheer offices in Pakistan, which are situated in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, and Quetta.
Saudi’s 90 Day E Visa
Saudi Arabia has revealed it will provide 90 day E Visas for Esports World Cup 2024 ticket holders, aiming to boost E gaming and tourism.
The Esports World Cup will be held in Riyadh’s Boulevard City for the first time from July 3 to August 25, 2024, featuring over 1,500 players from 500 global clubs and more than $60 million in prizes.
This effort supports the National Gaming and Esports Strategy under Vision 2030 to enhance Saudi Arabia’s reputation as a leading esports hub.
Saudi Summer Program with Visa Support
“Saudi Summer is Next Door” is a new Summer Tourism Program introduced by Saudi Arabia, offering attractive incentives like visa assistance, various events, complimentary airfare for children, and duty-free shopping.
This program will cover 7 destinations, namely Aseer, Al Baha, Taif, The Red Sea, Jeddah, Riyadh, and AlUla, and will feature more than 550 tourism options and 150 exclusive deals and packages.
The program will also feature the highly anticipated Jeddah Season, the inaugural Aseer Season, and notable events such as the Esports World Cup. Its main objective is to entice international tourists to discover and appreciate the splendor of Saudi Arabia.
Saudia Airlines 96-Hour Sightseeing Visa
Saudia Airlines recently introduced a 96 hour stopover sightseeing visa for passengers traveling from Malaga to Riyadh.
This visa allows travelers to explore the popular landmarks of Saudi Arabia while on their layover, with personalized itineraries that feature visits to well-known destinations such as Al-Balad, Jeddah, and the Al-Turaif district in Diriyah, which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
In addition, Saudia Airlines is planning to launch three direct flights per week to Malaga during the upcoming summer season, in alignment with the country’s efforts to expand its tourism sector.
Umrah For All Visa Holders
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that visitors holding any valid visa can now perform Umrah without a dedicated Umrah visa.
All visa holders can now get an Umrah permit via the Nusuk app, simplifying the planning and application process.
This initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to welcome over 30 million Hajj and Umrah pilgrims annually by 2030.
