Saudi Arabia has launched a cultural project to retrace the historic Hijrah route of the Blessed Prophet Muhammad, May the Peace and Blessings of God be upon Him, from Makkah to Madinah.
The initiative is due to restore 41 landmarks along the 470 kilometer route to offer visitors an immersive historical and spiritual experience through modern amenities and guided tours.
Set to open in November 2025, InshaAllah, the project aims to preserve Islamic heritage and enhance religious tourism.
