Red Sea Global has announced remarkable advancements in the luxurious AMAALA project along Saudi Arabia’s breathtaking Red Sea coast.
The AMAALA project includes the picturesque Triple Bay Marina Village, The Marina, the AMAALA Yacht Club, and the Ocean Golf Course.
AMAALA will also offer 30 high-end hotels, such as Equinox Resort and Four Seasons, both nearing completion, with the entire destination powered solely by solar energy.
AMAALA Construction Progress
To bring this ambitious vision to life, RSG has awarded over 600 contracts on AMAALA, worth nearly SAR 23 billion ($6.13bn), to world-leading partners.
These collaborations with industry giants such as Al Rawabi Hassan Allam, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, DEPA Group, Alec Engineering and Contracting, Havelock One, and AL-AYUNI Investment and Contracting Company

The AMAALA Project

Triple Bay Marina Village
The Equinox Resort has reached a significant milestone, with the building now fully topped out. Concrete structure work on the Village Boutique Hotel main building, condos, and villas is nearing completion.
This vibrant hub will soon offer guests a haven of scenic boardwalks, waterfront restaurants, luxurious boutiques, well-known retailers, and a vibrant year-round events program, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Red Sea.
The Marina
A stunning central feature, the marina basin was successfully flooded by the end of 2023, and contracts for floating pontoons and fixed decks have been awarded. RSG is meticulously placing the final touches on this magnificent centerpiece.
AMAALA Yacht Club
All construction contracts for the AMAALA Yacht Club have been awarded, and concrete works are nearing completion. Structural steel and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works are now underway, bringing this prestigious facility one step closer to reality.
Corallium
RSG’s marine life institute, Corallium, is taking shape with steel; the façade works well and is advanced. Inspired by the beauty of coral reefs, this distinctive building will be home to various marine research operations and visitor experiences, offering an opportunity to explore the wonders of the Red Sea.
Wellness Core
Within the Wellness Core zone, superstructures are present on 80% of the planned 220 buildings. This area will house world-leading wellness resorts such as Jayasom and Clinique La Prairie, creating an environment where guests can focus on mental, physical, and energetic regeneration.
Clinique La Prairie resort, located on Amaala’s land along Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast, covers an expansive 36,115 square meters. It will include 66 high-end suites and 13 branded residences, providing guests with a unique and transformative stay.
The Jayasom Wellness Resort will boasts 153 hotel rooms and 24 branded residences, adding to Amaala’s collection of luxury properties. The resort will also include a spacious adults-only area, offering a peaceful retreat for those seeking calm and relaxation.
Triple Bay Central
This area’s world-renowned partner resorts and residences are well on track, with Rosewood and Six Senses surpassing the two-thirds completion milestone.
Six Senses Amaala offers 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas, and 25 branded residences, all thoughtfully crafted to embody the charm and heritage of the area’s coastal villages. The spa features include a cryotherapy chamber, a longevity clinic, and separate thermal areas for men and women.
Rosewood Amaala will feature 110 guest rooms, suites, and 25 luxurious residences designed to seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor living, providing a unique level of privacy and exclusivity usually reserved for all-villa resorts.
Landscaping, MEP, and façade work at the Four Seasons resort are underway. The Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay is set to include 220 rooms and suites, along with villas that come with private pools and stunning views of the bay and sea.
Additionally, the resort will offer 26 high-end branded residential villas and a 27-hole golf course by the ocean, providing unmatched views of the Red Sea and Hijazi mountains.

Ocean Golf Course
AMAALA will boast an impressive golfing experience with three nine-hole golf courses and an additional nine-hole executive par 3 course.
Phase 1 of development, totaling 18 holes, is progressing well, with all major works complete for three holes and the remaining 15 holes underway. These courses will allow visitors to experience sports and relaxation in a luxurious environment with scenic ocean views.
Primary Infrastructure
Substantial progress has been made on essential infrastructure, with works heading towards completion on 35km of internal roads, power, water, irrigation, and communications systems. RSG is targeting to energize these vital utilities in December 2024.
Public Realm and Landscaping
RSG expects to plant an impressive three million plants and trees before the end of the year, further enhancing the natural beauty and sustainability of the destination.
AMAALA Hospital
In a significant development, the Ministry of Health approved the design for the AMAALA Hospital earlier this year. This impressive reserve, inspired by the shape of a shell, boasts 63 lavish villas with breathtaking ocean views. Guests can choose from 1 to 3-bedroom options and 18 exclusive Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded residences.

Six Sense Southern Dunes, The Red Sea was the first hotel to officially open in the Red Sea Project, with a special opening offer. This stunning resort offers 36 guest rooms and 40 pool villas situated against the backdrop of the Majestic Arabian Desert and Hijaz Mountains.

St. Regis Red Sea Resort
The St. Regis Red Sea Resort has officially opened to the public as the first private island resort along the stunning Saudi Red Sea coast.
Situated on the unspoiled Ummahat Island, the resort’s access is facilitated through chartered boat services or seaplane transportation from the recently established Red Sea International Airport.
Featuring a collection of 90 spacious overwater villas, including overwater and beachfront options equipped with exclusive private pools, the resort boasts various luxury offerings, including its renowned signature spa and five distinct dining venues.

Desert Rock Resort
Located just 20 minutes from Red Sea’s airport, Desert Rock Resort, which is now 50 percent complete, will offer a unique luxury experience integrated with the rock side. It will feature 48 villas and 12 hotel rooms, a fitness center, a lagoon oasis, and several remote dining destinations.
Unlike conventional resorts, Desert Rock is not built on the mountainside. Instead, it is sculpted directly into the ancient rock, preserving the environment’s striking silhouette. The materials excavated from the construction site, such as stone and sand, are repurposed for the resort’s infrastructure.
The project aims to create a world-class luxury destination while preserving the region’s rich history. It employs local community members as land stewards, providing educational tours for visitors.
