The world’s largest food and beverage giant, Nestle is due to open its first manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia in the City of Jeddah.
The $72 million site is due to be located in Jeddah’s Third Industrial City and is scheduled to open in 2025.
Spanning over 117,000 meters, the facility will enhance food security and boost local production whilst also catering to Middle Eastern and North African markets.
With a focus on children’s food and advanced technology, it is due to produce 15,000 tonnes of food annually and create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.

The cutting-edge facility will feature an advanced, automated production line equipped with state-of-the-art packaging and filling technologies, operated by a skilled workforce comprising predominantly Saudi nationals.
With an initial production target of 15,000 metric tons annually, the plant will focus on manufacturing high-quality baby food, catering to the rising demand for locally produced, nutritious options.
