The new hotel, the W Riyadh is due to open in 2025 and offers 210 luxurious rooms and suites, 7 restaurants, and extensive event facilities with signature W brand spaces such as the AWAY Spa, and FIT fitness center.

This partnership aligns with KAFD’s vision to become the world’s most iconic and advanced business district which is already home to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and multiple international companies.

The new Novotel Riyadh Sahafa Hotel, located in the lively Al Sahafa district of Riyadh, has been opened by Accor for guests. 

Hessa Al Mazroa, the first female General Manager in the country for Accor, leads the hotel, which is conveniently situated near the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) and just 15 km from King Khalid International Airport. 

With 232 luxurious and contemporary rooms and suites, a top-notch fitness center, an outdoor pool, a variety of dining options, and impressive views of Olaya Street, one of the bustling streets of Riyadh, the hotel is a prime destination for guests.

IHG Hotels & Resorts will be expanding their presence in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) with the opening of two new luxury hotels – Regent Riyadh KAFD and InterContinental Riyadh KAFD by January 2027,

The Rotana Hotel Group has announced its plans to double its presence in Saudi Arabia by launching 8 new hotels within the Kingdom in the upcoming four years. 

This announcement was made during the recent Saudi Tourism Forum held in Riyadh to expand to a total of 16 properties and 4,400 guest rooms. The growth plan encompasses the development of new hotels in Riyadh, Madinah, Khobar, and Al Baha.

Marriott Expansion In Saudi Arabia

Marriott International is expanding in Saudi Arabia with 40 planned hotels with more than 11,000 rooms and entry into new luxury destinations such as NEOM and The Red Sea.

The construction of a new Ritz-Carlton Hotel Diriyah has been started by Marriott International, with plans to open its doors in 2026. 

This luxurious five-star hotel will be situated in the massive $63 billion Diriyah Giga Project, representing a major step in Marriott’s growth in Saudi Arabia. 

The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah is expected to feature 195 guest rooms and 34 lavish suites, each providing a distinct combination of opulence, comfort, and local influences.

The Autograph Collection, Sindalah

The Autograph Collection, set to debut in Sindalah by 2024, will house 66 rooms and suites, including one- and two-bedroom villas. Guests can look forward to an array of dining options, a kids club, and a rejuvenating spa experience.

Sindalah stands as the inaugural member of a cluster of islands slated for development in NEOM, poised to emerge as one of the most captivating havens in the Red Sea. 

Marriott will also introduce some of its luxury brands to the region, including The Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis.

The Autograph Collection Hotel, AlUla

Marriott International, a leading global hospitality company, is partnering with the AlUla Development Company, a wholly owned Public Investment Fund subsidiary (PIF), to expand its renowned Autograph Collection brand into Saudi Arabia.

The hotel is slated to house an impressive 250 rooms and suites. Guests can look forward to an extensive array of recreational and entertainment services. The hotel plans include four dining venues, a full-service spa, a swimming pool, a modern fitness center, a business center, meeting facilities, and retail space.

Marriott’s Holy Cities Expansion

Marriott International plans to increase its room capacity by over 7,000 in the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah. 

Anticipating significant growth, the company is set to introduce two Fairfield Inn hotels in Makkah, contributing nearly 4,000 keys, establish a 1,000-room Aloft in Makkah, marking the brand’s largest global property, and launch two Courtyard by Marriott hotels, providing over 500 rooms in both cities.

The inaugural Marriott’s Ritz Carlton Reserve, W Hotel, and JW Marriott Hotel in Trojena are poised to inaugurate their presence in Trojena’s Lake Village, representing its premier establishment in Saudi Arabia.

NEOM in collaboration with Marriott International is set to introduce The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Trojena to the breathtaking and secluded Trojena mountains in northwestern Saudi Arabia. 

The exclusive resort will consist of 60 luxury villas ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, a luxurious spa, multiple pools, and a variety of top dining options. 

This new addition to NEOM will provide a unique and private getaway, making it Marriott’s seventh venture in the area.

W Hotel Trojena

Located in the diverse Lake Village of Trojena, the Marriott W Hotel will house 236 guest rooms and 47 suites, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and freshwater lake. The hotel will feature the brand’s signature spaces and offer four unique dining destinations

The W Hotel will be in the Lake Village, a residential, hospitality, and commercial hub directly at the water’s edge. The Lake Village will be home to a 2.8-kilometer-long architectural lake, an enchanted forest, and waterfront adventure activities, ensuring diverse experiences for residents and visitors alike.

JW Marriott Trojena

Situated in The Bow, the JW Marriott Hotel in Trojena will be a futuristic water world blending nature with technology. The hotel will feature 500 luxury rooms and suites and a variety of entertainment and recreational offerings.
