Launching New Diriyah Hotels

Diriyah’s 8 New Luxury Hotels

Diriyah Company has announced its plans to break ground on eight new world-class hotels to redefine luxury hospitality in Saudi Arabia.

Each hotel has been carefully selected to bring its unique brand of luxury and prestige to Diriyah, contributing to the area’s transformation into a world-class tourism destination. The hotels include:
- Baccarat Hotel: Known for its exquisite crystal craftsmanship, the Baccarat Hotel promises to bring a level of luxury and refinement that’s truly unparalleled and brings the true French experience to the heart of Diriyah.

- Corinthia Hotel: With its reputation for blending traditional hospitality with modern luxury, Corinthia will offer a sophisticated and culturally rich experience, offering 86 rooms and 10 exclusive residences, showcasing a modern twist on classic Najdi architectural style.

- Armani Hotel: Giorgio Armani’s vision of elegance and style will find a new home in Diriyah, offering guests the epitome of fashion-forward luxury accommodation. It will offer 70 beautifully built rooms, 2 world-class restaurants, and an exquisite spa.

- Fusion Hotel: This Parisian import will introduce a fresh, contemporary vibe to Diriyah’s hospitality scene, appealing to those who appreciate modern design and innovative concepts.

- Rosewood Hotel: Rosewood Diriyah will offer 250 luxury accommodations. These include 202 luxurious guest rooms and suites and 48 Wadi Suites that vary from 1 to 3 bedrooms. - Ritz-Carlton: A name that needs no introduction, the Ritz-Carlton Diriyah will offer its trademark 5-star hotel, offering luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. It is due to feature 195 guest rooms and 34 luxury suites and will offer outdoor pools and high-end restaurants.

- Address Hotel: This Dubai-born brand will bring its unique mix of Middle Eastern hospitality and contemporary luxury to Diriyah.

Diriyah company is also set to open Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection Hotel, by Marriott in November 2024. This luxury hotel is located at the heart of historic Diriyah and offers a perfect and distinct blend of traditional Saudi experience and modern luxury.

Bab Samhan Hotel will offer 106 guest rooms, each thoughtfully positioned to provide sweeping views of Wadi Hanifah, allowing guests to connect with the peaceful surroundings of Diriyah.
The hotel includes 28 suites for those seeking more, accommodating a range of preferences for a customized and comfortable stay.

Dining will be an experience on its own, with options available throughout the day and two specialty restaurants that showcase the unique flavors of Najdi cuisine.

Diriyah’s $62.2 Billion Giga-Project

The expansive Diriyah project, valued at $63.2 billion, is anticipated to cover an area of 14 square kilometers. Diriyah, often called the “Jewel of the Kingdom,” is poised to become a living, breathing showcase of Saudi Arabia’s illustrious history and bright future.
When finished in 2030, it will feature 42 hotels, more than 100 restaurants, nine museums, and 30,000 residences. The project aims to generate over 178,000 jobs and draw in more than 50 million visitors annually.
In support of this initiative, Diriyah Company has become an Affiliate Member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization to enhance international tourism cooperation and promote Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry.

Diriyah aims to become the Silicon Valley of Saudi Arabia, with plans for 500 tech companies, 100 media firms, and 50 entertainment businesses. This surge in companies is expected to generate a need for various housing choices, including studio apartments and two-bedroom homes.

Diriyah’s $2.13 Billion Contract

Diriyah Company has granted its biggest ever $2.13 billion contract to date, valued to Albawani and Urbacon Company for the development of Wadi Safar in Riyadh.
The contract will consist of four high-end hotels, including Aman, Six Senses, Chedi, and Faena, along with the Royal Diriyah Equestrian & Polo Club, retail spaces, mosques, and clinics.
This aligns with Diriyah’s goal to accommodate 100,000 individuals and tourists and to evolve into a top cultural and leisurely tourism hotspot.
Diriyah Zallal

Diriyah company has announced the details of its upcoming premier commercial and retail center, Zallal, which is set to open in 2025.
Located next to the renowned Bujairi Terrace and At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage site, Zallal will have direct access to Wadi Hanifah.
The development will consist of two low-rise office buildings and 12 retail and dining places and has already sparked interest from national and international brands.

London’s HKS architects have introduced groundbreaking designs, unveiling a 76,000 square-meter Diriyah arena embraced by an urban park.
Drawing inspiration from the intricate motifs of Najdi forts and palaces, the Arena’s design harmonizes Saudi heritage with a touch of modern sophistication.
Upon its completion, the arena aspires to establish itself as a frontrunner in the Middle East, welcoming prominent sports and cultural events.
The Ritz-Carlton Branded Residences

Diriyah Company and Ritz-Carlton have also announced the launch of the first Ritz-Carlton Luxury Branded Residences in the Kingdom to nurture a harmonious community experience and promote social interaction through cultural venues, plazas, and leisure facilities.
The Villas will have 3 distinct luxury interior designs ranging from Najdi to contemporary. On completion, the Diriyah Project will feature 20,000 residential units, luxury hotels, and restaurants.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences offers six residential villa layouts with three to five bedrooms. Each villa includes a courtyard, an ideal space for residents to relax and unwind. Furthermore, residents can choose three interior designs, from traditional Najdi to contemporary.
