The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has announced the construction of Al-Urubah Park, one of the largest parks in the city of Riyadh.
The park, which is due to span 754,000 square meters, will feature a panoramic path 3 kilometers long and 12 meters that is designed to provide unparalleled views of Riyadh City.
Over 600,000 trees and shrubs are due to be planted to cover 65% of the area of the Park.
Al-Uraba Park is part of the Green Riyadh Program, which aims to plant 7.5 million trees in Riyadh City to help lower the city’s temperature and reduce air pollution, helping to make Riyadh one of the most livable cities in the world.
