The PIF owned ARDARA has unveiled its first lifestyle community at AlWadi in Saudi Arabia’s lush Aseer Region.
The current phase of the project is due to feature 4 and 5 star luxury hotels, branded residences and apartments, villas, retail space, and world class facilities.
ARDARA has also signed SAR 1 billion in multiple partnerships with Hilton, Sumou Holding, and others to ensure a sustainable urban development in this beautiful region of Saudi Arabia
Launching ARDARA’s First Lifestyle Community
The Aseer Region of Saudi Arabia is set to witness a transformative development with the launch of ARDARA’s inaugural modern lifestyle community at AlWadi.
This ambitious project, unveiled by Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer and Chairman of ARDARA, marks a significant milestone in the region’s urban landscape.
The announcement was made during the second Aseer Investment Forum, held at King Khalid University in Abha, highlighting the commitment to enhancing the quality of life and tourism in the area.

ARDARA has also partnered with Sumou Holding to develop mixed-use urban communities that will integrate residential, hospitality, and entertainment components. This collaboration is in line with the National Tourism Strategy and emphasizes sustainable and smart urban development.
Partnership with SEDCO Capital
In another strategic initiative, ARDARA has signed a memorandum of understanding with SEDCO Capital to manage an investment fund worth SAR 1 billion. This fund will focus on developing urban projects in Abha, further supporting economic growth and tourism development in the Aseer Region.
Partnership with SPCC
ARDARA is committed to promoting sustainable practices in urban development. The company has signed an MoU with Southern Province Cement Company to incorporate eco-friendly materials and practices into the construction process.
The agreement includes the supply of “green cement,” which is designed to reduce the environmental impact of construction. This initiative reflects ARDARA’s dedication to sustainable building practices and its commitment to minimizing the carbon footprint of the AlWadi project.

The Point Abha
The Aseer Development Authority has awarded a 1 Billion SAR contract for the construction of a new tourist destination called in Abha called “The Point“.
Announced at the Cityscape Global Event 2024 in Riyadh, The Point is set to open in late 2027 and is to be located just 14 minutes away from Abha International Airport.
Spanning over 75,000 square meters, it is due to feature luxury hotels, including Hilton Hotel Apartments and Canopy by Hilton as well as multiple high end restaurants and cafes.
SEVEN Entertainment Destination In Aseer
SEVEN has also unveiled Seven Abha, a $346.6 Million (SAR 1.3 Billion) Entertainment Destination in the Aseer region, as part of the kingdom’s diversification efforts.
The entertainment destination is to be strategically located between Abha and Khamis Mushait, near Abha International Airport.
The development is set to feature unique world-class rides, virtual reality areas, and Discovery Adventures jungle-themed edutainment attraction created in partnership with Warner Bros.
